August Events Around Rivers Bend!

August is a beautiful time in Vermont and at Rivers Bend Campground. The fishing has been great, the bird watching amazing and the summer activities are kicking into high gear. The following are just a few of the great events within a short commute from Rivers Bend Campground.

The Lake Champlain Chamber Music Festival kicks off Aug 2028, 2016 at locations in and around Burlington. Lccmf.org for tickets and schedules.

Woodchuck Ciders Annual Music Festival is August 19 right here in Middlebury. There could be a few tickets still available, go to woodchuck.com for info.

August is the prime time to celebrate Vermont’s Agricultural heritage and the best way is to spend a day at the fairgrounds. Two of the best come up this month.

At the end of the month is the Champlain Valley Fair starting August 26 and going until September 4, 2016. Champlainvalleyfair.org for all the information. Celebrate the start of the harvest season by attending Ciderfest at Champlain Orchards in Shoreham, Vermont. The festival is August 13 from 38pm. They will have food, music, and and of course, Cider! Get tickets and all the info at champlainorchards.com/cidery.

Last but certainly not least is Vermont Open Farm Week starting August 15 August 21, 2016. Ninety different farms will be hosting events throughout the week.
